What is Omnilore?
Omnilore is a worldbuilding and creative writing workspace for authors, storytellers, and RPG creators. It brings character lore, locations, items, organizations, relationships, prose, and screenplays together inside your own projects.
How do I get started?
Sign in with Google or a verified email account, create a Project, and add lore entries or a Title. Define the fields you need, organize your writing in Collections, and connect scenes to your world.
Can I explore a project without signing in?
Yes. Open /demo to explore The Lantern Archive, a fictional sample project with five lore entries, a complete sample chapter, relationships, and a timeline. It is public and read-only, and works without JavaScript. Your account projects remain private.

Yes! Watch our quick tutorial to learn the basics of building your world and writing with AI.
World
What is a lore entry?
A lore entry describes one entity in your world, such as a character, location, item, or organization. Its category defines the blueprint of fields, and the entry holds the details that your writing can reference.
Can I create custom fields?
Yes. Add fields to a category blueprint to use them across that category, or add a field directly to an individual lore entry. Shape the encyclopedia around your world.
Can I organize books and screenplays?
Yes. Collections organize related Titles and nested Collections. Titles support prose and Fountain screenplay writing, and existing chapters remain available in their stories.
AI Context
How does AI writing assistance work?
Choose a writing or lore action and the context you want to use. Omnilore shows the server-calculated cost before you confirm supported generation actions. Review generated text before applying it. Personal-key generation follows its own provider and cost rules.
What is the difference between polishing and rewriting a selection?
Polishing improves the selected writing's clarity and flow. Rewriting or regenerating a selection replaces the highlighted passage. The action and context you choose determine what is sent for generation.
Account
Will the public demo expose my projects?
No. The demo contains only bundled fictional sample content. It does not read account projects, private writing, messages, or project media. Account project access continues to require authentication and ownership.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in and choose Delete Account in Account Settings or on the account-deletion web page. Deletion enters a 30-day recovery window. During these 30 days, you can sign in and recover your account. After 30 days, projects and forum contributions are permanently removed, with only the narrow private retention exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.
How do I report a bug or suggest an improvement?
Open /bug-report for a problem or /improvements for a product suggestion. Include enough context for support to understand your request.
